Some trainers give their clients shirts to wear, and some clients give them back! I mean, why wear a shirt when you can turn it into a wall hanging?
So first things first. Cut up the shirt.
Add a little embroidery (The EST. 2015)
Add some pieced fabric.
Put the pieces together.
Add a boarder, and machine quilt.
A fun way to spend a day (after doing squats, lunges, bent over rows, and assorted other strength taining). Thank you Colt Boyd of Invictus Sports Performance (you can also find him on Facebook) for the training, encouragement and “fun” times.
As we all hustle and bustle around, take a few moments to enjoy the season, and all that it has to offer!.
Each year I insist on a “real” tree, a freshly cut, formerly live evergreen Christmas Tree. One of the reasons, is so I can use the trimmed branches throughout the house and share that fresh evergreen smell.
This year, I ran out of containers and vases…..
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Wendy Jene Creations!
Rice bags are a wonderful thing. They come in sets of two coordinating fabrics.
Keep one in the freezer, pop the other in the microwave for 30 seconds -3 minutes. Use the heated one until it cools – on your back, or where your muscles ache. Then use the cold one. Alternate back and forth. They measure about 20″ long and are filled with rice.
I’m not a doctor, but they do help with muscle aches (the heated one can also warm your feet on a chilly night!)
Available in assorted colors. $15.00 a set of two.
When you get a message from one of your favorite customers (Angela Nolfo of Miss Angel’s Heavenly Pies) you never know where it will lead. The message last week lead to two very special aprons designed and stitched during Mount Airy’s Autumn Leaves Festival for Angela and WXII Weather person Lanie Pope to wear while making pies and creating baking magic.
Seeing these pictures just makes me smile! Thank you Angela for keeping Wendy Jane Creations in mind to make this moment special.

Baby bibs have been the foundation of Wendy Jane Creations, that’s how the business started. Making baby bibs out of even weave Aida cloth for the Counted Cross Stitch industry. They were sold through some great Count Cross Stitch companies and designers in the past. I recently saw a pattern for a bib, and thought, why not use bandannas for that? So here they are along with some of the staples:
Bandanna Bibs $5.00 each. Colors as assorted as the fun bandannas out there.
Embroidered Bibs, assorted designs, colors and styles. Prices average at $6.00
I love English Smocking, and while dresses aren’t as popular anymore, these bibs are still a mainstay and great for shower gifts. Smocked Baby Bibs $8.00
I love this design from Urban Threads ( urbanthreads.com). It was just yelling at me to make it into a pillow! So I made SEVERAL! They are embroidered on cotton dish towels, and made into pillows.
Each Pillow is unique and they are $15.00 each. Special orders accepted. Pick your “towel” color, and thread colors. Above: rainbow colors on white towel with black trim.Above: Pastel rainbow colors on towel with brown check trim.

The response to the Girlfriends design has been overwhelming! Thank you!!
I have been asked for some variations, so there is now a design with 5 women along with the first design which has 4 women.
The design was inspired by my long time GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Club) friends and mentors, so yes, GFWC Girlfriends was designed as well.
And the design looks great on Aprons!
Pillows – $15.00, Aprons $12.00
Here are a few more color options.
Thank you again! Wendy
